Lymphatic drainage
Lymphatic drainage is a type of compression massage performed to stimulate the circulation of lymph (or lymph).
The main indications for lymphatic massage are lymphatic stasis, swelling due to surgery (such as after thyroid surgery or mastectomy), diabetes. Lymphatic drainage is also often performed as a treatment to aid weight loss and cellulite reduction.
