Medical Training and Functional Medical Training originated in Germany and Scandinavia, where physiotherapy and motor preparation are world-class.
Medical training is a combination of personal training and physiotherapy. The classes are dedicated to all those who want to safely return to full athletic form after injury, surgery and who are already after a period of rehabilitation, as well as those whose goal is to improve the effectiveness of training.
Medical Training is aimed at people who need follow-up after leaving the physiotherapy office ( completion of rehabilitation). It is based on improving proprioception, or deep sensation. The main idea of this form of training is to increase motor control of the body through exercises that engage entire muscle chains, not just isolated muscles.
The purpose of the training is:
- Preparing the body to return to activities of daily living (for example, after injury or surgery),
- Preparing the body to return to the sports activity practiced before the injury,
- Increasing the effectiveness of sports training,
- Improving the technique needed to practice your favorite sport,
- Reducing overload and thus the likelihood of injury.
